2017, The Third Warmest Year on Earth

According to the annual international State of the Climate report that was released on August 1, 2018,  2017 was Earth’s third warmest year on record, just behind 2016, and 2015.

The State of the Climate report also described record-high greenhouse gases concentrations and also mentions rises in sea levels in 2017.
