Sugar and Cinnamon Slow Cooked Apples

What you need:

  • 4 tart baking apples (like Braeburn or Granny Smith), cored
  • 2/3 cup apple juice
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 piece slow cooker liner

In a small bowl, mix together oats, raisins, brown sugar, butter and cinnamon. Line your crock pot with the liner and place apples on top. Spoon mixture into the center of each apple, mounding remaining mixture on top of the apples. Pour apple juice over apples. Cover and cook on low for 3 hours. Remove apples from the crock pot, transfer to serving plates and drizzle with cooking liquid.

Easy Slow Cooked Fruit Cobbler

What you need:

  • 1 package white cake mix
  • 2 cups mixed frozen berries
  • 2 cups frozen peach slices
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Cooking spray

Spray slow cooker with cooking spray and place berries and peaches in it. Sprinkle with cornstarch and toss to coat. Add brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon and nutmeg to the mixture. Then stir in cake mix and melted butter. When ingredients are well-combined, cook on high for 3 to 3 1/2 hours or until bubbling.

Delicious Crock Pot Creme Brulee

What you need:

  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 2/3 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

In a large bowl, whisk together egg yolks, 1/4 cup sugar and salt until well-combined. Slowly stir in heavy cream and vanilla extract. Strain mixture into a liquid measuring cup. Place 4 ramekins (4oz) in a slow cooker and fill the slow cooker with just enough water so that the ramekins are halfway immersed. Pour egg mixture evenly onto ramekins. Cover and cook for 2 hours on low. When ready, allow to cool completely then refrigerate uncovered for at least 3 hours.
