What you need:

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 4 cups water
  • 3 cups tomato paste
  • 5 tablespoons dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon dried onion
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

In a slow cooker, mix together garlic, lemon juice, water, tomato paste, dried parsley, honey, dried onion, dried basil, dried oregano and cayenne pepper. Stir to mix ingredients well. Cover and cook for 6 to 8 hours on low. When ready, allow to cool for a few minutes before spreading on pizza crust.

  • 1/2 cup chicken stock

In a pan over medium-high heat, cook ground beef and onion just until meat is lightly browned. Stir to mix ingredients well. Cover and cook for 6 to 8 hours on low. Remove bay leaf before serving.
