Keystone Bar & Grill, a local restaurant group in Cincinnati, OH specializes in made-from-scratch comfort food. With a diverse menu including items like their meatloaf-style burger, house made buttermilk battered chicken tenders and farm fresh salads, they are best known for the ultimate comfort food, their flavorful skillets of macaroni & cheese. Within their 3 brick & mortar locations, Keystone offers seven varieties of their mac and it’s all locally sourced and made to order. The chefs at Keystone focus on the art of combining flavors like pesto, tomatoes, and mozzarella in their “Fleetwood Mac” and caramelized onions and bacon in their “Pink Floyd.” They also create some classic combos like BBQ chicken and bacon or buffalo chicken with bleu cheese crumbles.
With the success of Keystone’s Bar & Grill locations and the rave reviews of their mac & cheese it was then that they knew they needed to give their customers more. They knew they needed to make their mac available outside of the restaurants. In October of 2016, Keystone launched their first packaged products within 200+ Kroger grocery stores. Today, Keystone is expanding into 700+ Walmart grocery stores across 15 different states with their 2 packaged mac & cheese varieties, BBQ Chicken & Bacon and Buffalo Chicken.
Keystone’s individual serving of packaged mac & cheese is packed with 30 grams of protein and high-quality ingredients to parallel the restaurant experience as much as possible. “We worked for several months to perfect the recipe with our grocery product. It was very important to us to duplicate as close as possible that Keystone Bar & Grill experience you get when you dine with us at our restaurants,” said Dan Cronican, managing partner of the Keystone brand. Cronican continued to talk about the target demographic of their grocery product, “Our mac & cheese product at the grocery store is for everyone. Of course, kids love mac & cheese, but our mac is just as popular with the adults. With the addition of BBQ chicken and bacon or buffalo chicken, we think our mac entrees appeal to everyone, especially busy families that want wholesome, hearty meals.”
Customers can find the product in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Georgia, Michigan, Missouri, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, and Alabama. For more information and to find Keystone’s mac & cheese in your state, visit www.keystonebar.com/grocery
