ALASKAN TSUNAMI WARNING: CANCELLED

The U.S. Geological Survey reported a large seven point Oh Magnitude earthquake this morning, southeast of Kodiak, Alaska, in the Gulf of Alaska which struck on January 23, 2018 at 1:31 a.m. Pacific Standard Time.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center issued tsunami warnings for Alaska and the Canadian province of British Columbia.

There was a Tsunami watch for the U.S. west coast from Washington to California and also Hawaii.

All of the watches and warnings were subsequently cancelled.

As of yet, there were no report of damages or injuries.
