NASA’s Cassini spacecraft will make its mission-ending dive into the atmosphere of Saturn in 9 days. It will bravely make it’s plunge on September 15th.
Cassini received a gravitational kick from Saturn’s moon, Titan, which placed the two and a half ton vehicle on its path for impending destruction.
There will be several mission milestones to prepare the vehicle for one last burst of trailblazing science.
