Asteroid (52768) 1998 OR2 wasย first discovered by astronomersย onย July 24, 1998,ย from Haleakala Observatory, Hawaii.
You can see the asteroid through small 6-inch or 8-inch telescopes near star HIP 53416 and galaxy NGC 3463 around 9:30 PM CDT, which will be its closest approach to the Earth.
