Valley Metro
As a city known to rise from the ashes, the Phoenix Suns are living up to their name. Illuminating the city with excitement as they are two games away from holding up the Larry O’Brien trophy for the first time ever and getting to call themselves champions.
Valley Metro is thrilled to bring fans to Phoenix Suns Arena to be a part of it all. The last time the Suns we’re in the finals, light rail didn’t exist in metro Phoenix! Now, fans pack the trains headed to downtown Phoenix to celebrate this team’s amazing run and rise from the ashes of a 19-win season just two years ago.
Fans with a ticket to the game can ride Valley Metro Rail for free to and from Phoenix Suns Arena on game day. You can feel the energy inside the train with other fans as anticipation and excitement builds with each stop getting closer to downtown. Make new memories and friends while heading to the game as the city shines bright with Suns fever.
A reminder to all fans: please be safe when riding, walking and driving around light rail. No celebrating on the tracks, no pushing and shoving to get in or out of the train and be courteous to opposing fans. The Suns will take care of those Bucks on the court. While you’re waiting for your train to arrive, don’t forget to download the new Valley Metro app. It will help you locate the arrival of your next train! Get it now in your Google Play or Apple app stores.
The fans have waited 28 years for the Suns to have a shot at the championship again. Let’s stay safe, treat everyone with respect and pretend like we’ve been here before because we have and this time we’re believing there will be a different (winning) outcome. GO SUNS!
