The Blue Moon will pass through the Earth’s shadow on January 31, 2018. This will cause a total lunar eclipse. This is a full moon and will totally be in the Earth’s umbral shadow.
For those who live in North America or the Hawaiian Island, the eclipse will be visible in the sky just before sunrise on January 31.
If you live in places like Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand or Middle East Asia, the lunar eclipse will happen in the evening hours after sunset.
