CASSINI PLUNGES, iPhone X, and Equifax Debacle: Weekend WrapUp Archives 2017


NASA’s Cassini spacecraft took its final bow before taking a plunge into Saturn on Friday, September 15, 2017, ending a thrilling 13 years of exploration and the tour of the ringed planet.

Telemetry received during the plunge indicates that, as expected, Cassini entered Saturn’s atmosphere with its thrusters firing to maintain stability, as it sent back a unique final set of science observations.



On September 12, 2017… Cupertino, California — Apple announced iPhone X, touting it as the future of the smartphone, in an all-glass design with a 5.8-inch Super Retina display, A11 Bionic chip, wireless charging and an improved rear camera with dual optical image stabilization.



Equifax faces mounting class action lawsuits after it revealed that it had a massive data breach that effects approximately the personal data of 143 million consumers.
