After losing custody of her daughter, she needs to find steady employment and attend NA meetings as steps to get her daughter back. Kali takes a job as a caregiver to Henry, an artist who is wheelchair bound after a tragic car accident. Every thing seems to be working out. She helps Henry overcome his depression and he starts painting again. But the temptation for addiction proves too great for Kali and she starts her spiral downward.
