The Art and Design Convention happened in Orange County, California over the weekend…
TNCN had the pleasure of attending the annual art design convention, DesignerCon on Saturday, November 13, 2021, occured at the Anaheim Convention Center, near the Disneyland Resort.
DesignerCon, founded in 2005 by Ben Goretsky, is a combination of pop, urban, underground art, designer apparel, collectible toys and more that is under one roof. The three day event encompassed a broad spectrum of art and design, with artist from all over the globe.
Both Visitors and Vendors had to follow COVID protocols to enter, which included getting tested on site or providing proof of vaccination.
Once inside, visitors were free to proceed to the convention floor where they were able to interact with over 500 plus vendors. Visitors also experienced a wonderful panoply of pop art, vintage toys, clothing, and the many cosplayers who happened to be there.
DesignerCon is the First major event to return to Anaheim Convention Center!
2021 marked the return of the live event, 2020 was virtual through Popshop Live, and it also marked the first major live event at the Anaheim Convention Center since COVID restrictions. DesignerCon was a three day event which started on Friday, November 12, with the last day of the event on Sunday, November 14, 2021.
Dcon was a fun and awesome experience which allowed us to take in the diversity of vendors and their products. We look forward to the next Dcon with anticipation.
