The Center for Near Earth Object Studies at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, and astronomers and observatories around the globe are watching a small asteroid designated 2012 TC4.
Asteroid 2012 TC4 will be used as a test of Earth’s global asteroid defense system.
