I remember some of my favorite foods from my childhood in Southern California. The three dishes that stand out, and there is more, tacos, my mom’s spaghetti, and of course hamburgers. Southern California felt like the burger headquarters, there were the typical corporate franchises and there were also the many family own chains and stand alone restaurants like Tommy’s Original, In and Out, Fosters, Fatburger, just to name a few.
Tommy’s had very delicious burgers, and still do. I started making my own burgers since I was 14, I would occasionally try to recreate menu items from my favorite places. I came across a video of how to duplicate a Tommy’s Original Double Chili Cheeseburger check it out here…
